Does the Apple Watch Record Health Data?
Yes. When you use the Shot Scope Apple Watch app during a round, your Apple Watch will automatically record your activity as a Golf Workout.
Your health and fitness data will be available within Apple's Health and Fitness apps.
What Health Data is Recorded?
Depending on your Apple Watch model and settings, Apple may record information such as:
- Heart rate
- Active calories
- Total calories
- Exercise minutes
- Distance walked
- Steps
- Workout duration
This information is stored by Apple and can be viewed in the Health and Fitness apps on your iPhone.
Do I Need to Start a Separate Workout?
No. The Apple Watch will automatically recognise your round as a Golf Workout, so there is no need to manually start a workout before you play.
Where Can I View My Health Data?
After your round, open either:
- Health app on your iPhone
- Fitness app on your iPhone
You'll be able to review your golf workout along with all of your recorded health and activity metrics.
Does Shot Scope Store My Health Data?
No. Health data is managed by Apple and is stored within the Apple Health and Fitness apps. Shot Scope does not display this information within the Shot Scope app.
