Any course updates or changes are automatically sent to your Apple Watch through the Shot Scope mobile app.

Do I Need to Sync My Courses?

No. There is no manual course sync process for the Apple Watch app.

As long as your Apple Watch is connected to your iPhone, the latest course information will be transferred automatically.

How to Make Sure You Have the Latest Course Updates

Before starting your round:

1. Open the Shot Scope app on your iPhone.
2. Open the Shot Scope app on your Apple Watch.
3. Leave both apps open for a few moments before starting your round.

This ensures that any available course updates have been transferred to your Apple Watch before you begin playing.

Why Doesn't the Apple Watch Need Manual Course Sync?

The Apple Watch app works differently from our dedicated GPS devices. Instead of manually syncing courses, it communicates with the Shot Scope mobile app and automatically keeps your course data up to date.

This means you no longer need to connect your device to download course updates before heading to the course.
