Supported Apple Watch Models

Apple Watch Compatibility

The Shot Scope Apple Watch app requires an Apple Watch Series 7 or newer.

If you're using an earlier Apple Watch model, the app may install but it will not function correctly during a round.

Supported Models

• Apple Watch Series 7
• Apple Watch Series 8
• Apple Watch Series 9
• Apple Watch Series 10
• Apple Watch Series 11
• Apple Watch Ultra
• Apple Watch Ultra 2

Unsupported Models

The following Apple Watch models are not supported:

• Apple Watch Series 6 and earlier
• Apple Watch SE (1st Generation)
• Any older Apple Watch model released before Series 7

Symptoms of Using an Unsupported Watch

If you're using an unsupported Apple Watch, you may experience one or more of the following:

• The app repeatedly returns to the watch face.
• The app displays loading messages but never starts a round.
• You cannot progress beyond the course selection screen.
• The app closes unexpectedly.
• GPS and tracking features do not work correctly.

Why is Series 7 Required?

The Shot Scope Apple Watch app has been designed to take advantage of the improved performance and hardware available in Apple Watch Series 7 and newer models. Older watches do not provide the level of performance required for a reliable on-course experience.

How to Check Your Apple Watch Model

On your iPhone:

1. Open the Watch app.
2. Tap General.
3. Tap About.
4. Look for Model Name to see which Apple Watch you have.
