How the PinCollect Feature Works

he PinCollect feature allows you to record the exact location of the flag on the green. This helps improve the accuracy of your putting statistics by ensuring distances are measured to the correct hole location for that day's pin position.

When to Use PinCollect

You should use PinCollect after you've finished the hole and after you've recorded all of your putts.

As you walk to retrieve your ball from the hole:

1. Stand over the hole.
2. Tap the PinCollect button, located in the bottom-right corner of the screen.

The app will record the location of the flag for that hole.

Why Is PinCollect Important?

Golf courses move the flag position regularly, so the centre of the green isn't always where the hole is located.

Using PinCollect allows the app to record the actual hole location, improving the accuracy of your performance statistics, including:

• Putting distances.
• Proximity to the hole.
• Strokes Gained analysis.
• Other performance insights within the Shot Scope app.
